Many items of the real world can be taken in hand and can be used in a familiar way or in a way that is possible only in a virtual world application (in VR world a real item has the same size and weight but may have a different color or application). This is achieved via sensor, outside cameras and VR software.

PROXIOMA

Actual «walkable» size of virtual world is no longer limited to a certain physical space.

Such experience drastically improves perception of Virtual Reality world. This is achieved via a wireless headset and coverage/number of installed surrounding transmitting base stations.

MANIBUS

Availability of a complete avatar with high precision replication of all user’s movements completely eliminates the use of joysticks.

Now the interaction with the world occurs in a natural way, that is with the help of hands and fingers. Gesture recognition technology is designed to make this interaction even more vivid and memorable. This is achieved via sensor gear, outside cameras and VR software.

PROXIMITY

A multi-user cooperative feature is introduced to VR applications.

This feature induces a new level of sensation though socializing and user direct cooperation in a single physical, and at the same time, virtual or augmented reality. This is achieved via wireless headset with front facing camera, sensor gear and VR software.

VREINCARNATION

User can see his own full size avatar.

This opens unprecedented experiences of becoming a researcher-astronaut, a representative of an alien race or an intelligent robot. This is achieved via front facing camera and VR software.

VIARSCAN

An automatic VR environment recognition system is introduced.

This hardware allows one to map out an outside physical space and obstacles for the VR system to adapt its software application within available physical boundaries. This is achieved via scanning hardware and sets of VR software.

Оur team consists of young scientists graduated from universities specializing in engineering. Everyone has a good level of expertise in their field and most importantly, each is endowed with great enthusiasm to achieve the ultimate common goal. Coordinated work and mutual support means that we will create something far greater than initially expected.

Hello, my name is Abylay Sargaskayev. I am the head coordinator of technological development in the project “VR UniBlock”. I graduated from the MSTU of Bauman with a degree in Optoelectronic and Laser Systems.

Ever since I can remember, I dreamed of inventing something that would change and improve human life. Among other spheres, my attention was always drawn to IT technologies in the VR field. For the last couple of years significant progress has been achieved by many players in this field, yet I felt that there has been a missing piece of a puzzle that if found would allow far more realistic VR experience through combination of vision, hearing and touch.

At the moment, as a VR user, one has to compromise with limited technologies and limit one’s self to physical boundaries, wires, inability to interact with physical items around, bulky headsets and many other obstacles for a realistic experience.

Thus came the idea to develop technologies of “VR UniBlock”. For this purposes, I have gathered fellow team members who are not afraid to look for bold solutions, and who have confidence in their knowledge and creative intuition.

I love what I do and believe that VR opens up unlimited opportunities. I think that our future will be closely connected with VR technology. Recent advances in this area are just the tip of the iceberg. I sincerely hope that our initiative will contribute to further development in the VR field, as long as we will continue staying hungry for new approaches to solve problems and foolish enough to explore hidden, invisible paths.
